I am currently living in Winston Salem, NC for the summer and my carbon black M is in need of some TLC. Don't have time or space to attempt to do the detail myself. Am in need of paintwork and wheel detail.

Anyone no of someone or a place that could hook me up.

Many thanks to any info.

With detailing you really get what you pay for. How much are you looking to spend?

i have never had my car trully detailed. I understand I get what I pay for. I guess I am willing whatever will get the car looking new again. Up for any suggestions.

Don't really know how much a good detail will cost.

I am also open to someone locally that does detail jobs. Either way works for me.

How far are you from Cary NC? Martin is a very talented mobile detailer that can come to you (may have to pay for traveling costs).

He is well worth the money and I wouldn't settle for a mediocre detail or detailer.

He is pretty far away from me. Mapquest states it is 1 hour 45 min. away. I checked his prices and for what he does, it seems like the prices are pretty reasonable!?

You know of anyone else closer?

I work out of my home as a hobby on the weekend, I could give you a very resonable price but I am way in Charlotte : / Don't know if that is worth the drive for you. I could maybe come out to you but we would have to talk about pricing. I would love to see how wet that carbon black would look after polishing : 0

Just talked to Martin today and will be most likely using his services. Seems very willing to work for you. I have a couple friends in need as well.

Just out of curiousity, how much would you charge and do you have any pics of some darker colored cars you have done in the past???

Hey, I live in winston salem also. I have a friend that does immaculate detailing for $100. This is a steal. He will wash your car. Wax the whole thing, take all four wheels off, respray your inner fenders to where they look brand new. Respray the whole underbody(will look brand new) and touch up any small paint areas that need it. PM me if you want his number.

He is actually repainting? Or is he using a underbody spray like Adams Invisible

$100 for wash and wax seems like a pretty good price, i wouldnt say steal tho but he seems like a guy that goes all out! :buttrock

its actually more of a tar based paint. similar to black spray paint but not quite the same.

Martin, that car looks awesome. I left you a voicemail but in case you didnt get it I want to go ahead and set something up. My next day off is the 19th. Let me know if we can set something up. I am pitching tomorrow at noon. I will be able to get back with you after about 3:30.

PS the work looks really good. I wish I lived closer so I could let you be in your element to do the work.

Thanks again and I am very excited to see what you do with it.

Just had Martin detail my car yesterday and he did an awesome job. Anyone that is looking to get their car detailed in the Raleigh area I suggest that you have Martin Dettlebach (DetailsbyDBach) have a look at your vehicle and let him go to work. He is very professional and more than willing to work around your situation. He can come to you or you can go to him.

He is very good at what he does and by just talking to him I think it is safe to say that he has made a name for himself.

Martin, thanks again for the work you did. My car looks 100% better and I can now maintain a new looking shine and be happy with the way my paint looks.
