Hey guys,

It’s not meant to be a low ball. Wheels are unbelievably cheap these days and with the amount of damage to these wheels it heavily affects the resale.

No offense to anyone in this thread but me posting an offer gets the seller alot closer to a sale, instead of everyone posting they would get them if they have the money. That doesnt help him.

Works are like SSRs or Volks ect, if its repairable, the wheel is still worth alot.

Plus, its a 3 or 2 piece wheel. Super easy to fix any damage or even replace with a wider barrel. But the them being unknown if their bent or not, should drop the price down dramaticly to around 7-900.

A quick search comes up with many Works wheels on ebay (16's, 17's, 18's, 19's) at about $1500 for a JDM set in hi-chrome and in great condition. Personally, I think half retail is a fair starting point for good condition, used merchandise. These wheels might have a couple bent and all need some reconditioning work. Straightening work and your time are both valuable. I don't see a problem with making an offer and seeing if a deal can be negotiated.

Are those two part wheels? Good point on the scarcity of the wheels. Ultimately everything is worth what someone is willing pay.

Just an FYI..these are not DDC lipped...

E36UC
05-11-2008, 02:12 AM
whats ddc? and how can you tell?

yoda888
05-11-2008, 02:28 PM
Eh..how do I explain this? DDC lip=the face of the wheel goes out to the barrel of the lip. Ie, right now it looks like an 18" wheel, with a 16 or 17" face. Work makes some of their wheels (and I know that Equips you could get it like this) with the DDC lip. The face is bigger and there is no "step up lip" that BBS used back when they made the BBS RS wheels. Does that make sense? I'll see if I can find some pictures...
