I'm installing an Innovate LM-1 wideband in my 325i. Whats the best way to run the cable from the exhaust into the cockpit? The bung is installed not too far from the factory sensor. The cable I have is 10ft long. Thanks

depends on where you want the lm-1 box. if its the stock location on a OBD1 325 isnt it near the cats? The cats are near the transmission tunnel.... pull up your shifter tray area and go through the trans tunnel then. There will be perforated pieces for automatic transmission wiring and such.

Yea, the bung was welded in right in front of the Cats. Tonight I'll take out the shifter boot, etc and see if I can squeeze the cable through there. Thanks for the help.

I cut the connector on the gauge side on mine and pulled it through as seen in the pic
pretty easy and very clean with some wire grommets. Passenger side where the secondary air pump used to be on my 97 M3. I pulled my boost controller vac line, BC solenoid wire and Wideband 02 wire.
Comes out right at the top of the carper in the passenger foot well

There's a circle grommet under where the battery terminal is located under the hood. I cut out one of the unused portions and ran the wire through that.

Thanks for the help guys. I've currently got it running through the shifter console, but I'd like to try re-routing in through the passenger side for a cleaner look.
