don't matter if you don't know it now... just imagine how much the legion would benefit if a legionairre got his hands on that thing
Steinkek 05-07-2008, 05:56 PM well i emailed him. if i dont hear back i will call tomorrow.
Maybe if i made stuff for you guys i would be able to mooch more stuff/info off you guys on my project.
Steinkek 05-08-2008, 02:20 AM Alright so they have two different air dams. one for 79(smaller) and 80+(bigger)
They look just like the one on Blitz's car. They want $150 for each of them.
So who wants um? I can pick them up but i really dont think i will have time to actually make anything cause im trying to work on my car as much as possible with the free time i dont have. But if some one on here wants them i will go buy them and see what i can do.
Rickysbmw320i 05-08-2008, 04:29 AM okay, so you baught the project car huh!????

wmesser 05-08-2008, 02:52 PM you know, I kinda thought these would be the ones.
I would have been tempted to buy, but I have seen these exact airdams on eBay a few different times in the past 6 months, even as low as $50 + ship one time, without really selling.
Also, if I remember right, the auction described the difference between the two as one fitting US bumpers the other Euro. could be wrong about that though...
So whats the Legion consensus one these airdams?
jchristians 05-08-2008, 03:03 PM I need one for a post '80's so...someone get these and make me one!!
BoostedE21 05-08-2008, 05:57 PM Yep.

Those look good, i might be interested
I work with composits every day .If somone wants to buy them I can lay them up for you . I may be interested In them . Does he have a pic of the molds , the parts in the pic look like parts not molds . I am working on a plug
for a air dam mold , but if the molds are nice forget it way less work to buy them. I made a hood mold for my e21 , took a lot of time and money. If there nice 150.00 each is a deal.
Steinkek 05-09-2008, 01:12 PM just email the guy through the craigslist add
skyflyer 05-09-2008, 08:44 PM Both look like pre-79 Alpina spoiler. The one at the back in the picture definitely fits the Euro bumper; the one in front I'm not too sure never seen one like that (maybe one-off to fit US bumper???).

I believe i remember from the ebay add that the one in back fits the pre 80s e21s and the one in front is supposed to fit the post 80s e21s
