Hi, I just bought an e30 318is, and i was wondering what can be done with the motor... I wanna make it into a track car, but i don't know much about whats out there for the 1.8s. I've got an extra 4.3 vortec that i've been thinking about throwin in it... All in all, i'm wondering what there is out there for my little four banger, or what it'd take to throw in my 4.3. Just lookin for ideas people, so don't bash me.

Downing-Atlanta makes a roots-type supercharger kit. Metric Mechanics makes a 2.1L stroker for the 318is. What kind of track are you lookig to be on? A 1/4 mile, autocross, or a road course? In the track section, one guy is running a red e30 318is Mod car, with a turbo and planety of power.

Search around, i'm sure you'll find something to fit it.
