Thursday May 8 through Friday May 9, 2008: Sponsoring Chapter: Golden Gate Chapter
This is a first and unique event. We will be holding this race during the Formula BMW Americas official test days just a week prior to their event at Laguna Seca with the Rolex series.

Formula BMW technical staff will be available to show and discuss the Formula BMW cars if there is interest from our participants and guests at the event.

Formula BMW Americas has added 12 Members Lounge, Race Track Admission tickets and parking to the Formula BMW Americas race weekend (Rolex Sports Car ) at Laguna Seca on May 17-18, 2008 to the awards to be presented though random drawing from the entrants at this event. These have a face value of $255 each. The drawing will take place after Friday's Feature race.

09:00am - 09:15am BMW CCA Drivers Meeting
09:00am – 11:00am Formula BMW Open Testing
11:10am – 11:30am BMW CCA Practice
11:30am – 12:30pm Lunch
12:30pm – 02:00pm Formula BMW Open Testing
02:10pm – 02:30pm BMW CCA Qualifying
02:40pm – 04:20pm Formula BMW Open Testing
04:30pm – 05:00pm BMW CCA Race


The Friday race is the Feature race.

Given the weekday scheduling of this event, one day registrations will be accepted.

Yes sir! Car's just about done with it's repairs, I've got some cosmetic stuff to do, then I'll be ready.

I wanna be there!!! Just don't think it's gonna happen....took the car to my exhaust guy tonight. Long planned, but he wasn't there as he apparently fried a hand and had to go to the hospital... He left the shop open so I could leave the car, but then I drove off with the new muffler (Vibrant)... I have a meeting until 7:00PM tomorrow night....So, unless he can stay very late, I'm SOL... You fast guys need another car to lap, so wish me good luck!!

But THill is enforcing sound (103dB, I believe). There has in the past been an issue with unmuffled cars in the 25 Hour.

Looks like attendance is going to be higher than I anticiapted for this. I REALLY wish I was going, but work's too crazy right now for 3 racing days off....have fun, guys! GREAT track!

Swear to God, I was having the "well how loud is too loud" discussion, when we had to stop because Jean-Luc's Mercury-thing was passing us. But *he* wasn't too loud, because he had a 'muffler'...:rolleyes
