Ok, I bought a track car off someone and the driver's seat has camlock but the passenger has latch and link. I have been sitting in the car for 10 minutes and can't figure the darn thing out. I like to think I am somewhat mechanical but WTF? Any help would be appreciated. Other than get a camlock, that is in the plan but I won't be racing this year and I don't want to waste a year of life of the harness.

Thanks,

Dan

The ones I've seen you slip both shoulder harnesses over the long piece on one of the left lap belts. Then put the that lap belt piece into the latch assy on the other lap belt.

Not sure if this computer art will work.

For the last ones I used, the process was to place one end of the lap belt over the bail in the other end of the lap belt, then drop the end of the center strap over the bail, follow that with the ends of the shoulder straps, and close the latch.

Think male / female. In this case the male has multiple partners, but in a specific order. The shoulder harness closest to the male end should be first, sub next, then second shoulder and finally the latch. The lever seals the deal after the last engagement. Good luck!
