Downtown Golden will be filled with cars from American to imports. Old Golden Road will be packed with cars from king soopers to golden high school, it would be cool to see some bmw's so bring them out. I know a bunch of pirates are going.

Yep, first SuperCruise of the season. It's held the 1st Saturday night, May - Oct, from 6-9pm along S Golden Rd. Lots of classic rides and a huge good crowd.

I cruised it tonite, great evening for it - clear and cooler. But seemed to be the only Bimmer among many hundreds of other classics, hotrods & muscle cars. It was FUN time regardless... Will definitely do it again.

Sounds like a good time and probably worth the drive up from the Springs sometime.

M318i -- Hey thanks. My 02 is a DD, relatively clean considering, but nothing like some of those show-class classics. Sorry I didn't see you. Maybe next time (Say Hey - I didn't know anyone there!).

Michael -- yeah, you should definitely try to make one of these. The collection and assortment of cars is awesome, and there's a nice friendly vibe to it. They even have a place to park trailers - some folks are clearly cruising up/down the street in racecars (hint-hint) ;-)

Oh wow, that's awsome. I'm on a very tight schedule before I get out of here. I'll keep that in mind. As crazy as it sounds, that might be worth the $200 or so to tune my carbs for this altitude just for one of those events before moving. We'll see. Not driving my 2002 in 3.5 years causes me to think crazy things.
