I do not think Dakar Yellow was available on a e46. Smuggler617 needs to post some pics or get the color code.
mikeyb74 05-03-2008, 03:17 PM smuggler617, is your 328ci Sonora Gold?

Sam 330ci 05-05-2008, 12:40 PM I'm in Salem as well but never see anyone with a modded ride, or one that I recognize.

That is an interesting color. What is the color code? I remember seeing a 328ci for sale on craigslist and on autotrader roughly a month ago in the Manchester area.

That would be the same car, and the color is code 376, lightgelb.

KWorker17 05-12-2008, 01:41 PM When will there be a NH meet in the works? Seems like we have a good amount of people...
Dabeema 05-12-2008, 05:35 PM Jeepers, and here I am from the Great Frozen North...seems everyone in this forum is from southern NH or Mass. I'm currently residing up in the Upper Valley area (Croydon specifically, though I work in West Lebanon), and while I see plenty of yuppy-driven Bimmers floating about, very rarely do I see anyone who obviously takes pride in their car beyond the fact that it cost them a lot of money.
Anyone else up in this area? Or am I all alone?
And a meet sounds like a wonderfully Grinchy idea. Just tell us when and where. :3
KUSA325is 05-12-2008, 05:44 PM we really do need a meet, maybee around the portsmouth area.
mikey- what is bav autos policy about having meets in the back parkinglot?
NHskibm 05-12-2008, 05:48 PM We did an E46 fanatics meet last year.
Started in MA in Salisbury area and then drove rte 1 and 1A along the beach up to Portsmouth for Bav and then into portsmouth for some food/drink.
We could organize again?
It was a good time. i think we had like 10+ cars (if I remember correctly).
ESMcBlurM3 05-12-2008, 09:49 PM howard, are yuo coming down to csp sunday?
NHskibm 05-12-2008, 11:08 PM sorry, but I'll be at the Sox game...
And I know... I owe you lemonade...

moneyguy 05-12-2008, 11:10 PM NEmotorsport.com is a group of car guys/girls that are not car specific but there is usually a bunch of people that hang out in Manchester, almost everynight. check it out.
NHskibm 05-12-2008, 11:18 PM bastid!
yeah I know. That lemonade is pretty damn good.
Don't anyone get too jealous. I'll be at the game with my GF, her sister (who I love), and her mother and mother's husband.
I DO have an extra ticket that I'm not sure what to do with though. The game is a surprise for her b-day (30th) and she won't know until a little later this week.
Do we invite a friend of hers? Do we invite a friend of mine? That's a toughy.

mikey- what is bav autos policy about having meets in the back parkinglot?
Bav might work. Another option is the top level of the Portsmouth garage. There is a high level that is big enough for about 30 cars, could work out great on a day/night.
mikeyb74 05-13-2008, 02:25 PM You all should just do what you did last year just show up. But let me know before hand so I'm not prepared. I know the e46fanatics had a meet here two summers ago that went over well. All someone should do is talk to either Gordon aka Otto about having a mini meet.
KWorker17 05-14-2008, 06:24 PM Bump :b_yellow
KUSA325is 05-15-2008, 09:52 AM yes, that e46fans meet was great! bav is a great spot to have a meet, also the top of the portsmouth parking garage would be awesome!

burn740i 05-15-2008, 01:26 PM This weekend? Maybe Sat? Too soon?
That would work great for me, since I don't think I'll be going to CSP and I need something to fill the void. I could get my dad to bring his M3 as well.
Fidhle007 05-17-2008, 12:01 AM Now that my car is together I'll be organizing some cruises starting at my shop in dublin, any and all are welcome to come out for some "leisurely" drives around the beautiful NH countryside!

Wheres your shop in Dublin? And website?
Fidhle007 05-17-2008, 01:43 PM AVA Restoration Services, 1126 Main Street. http://www.avarestoration.com (http://www.avarestoration.com/)
We specialize in BMWs and since the restoration market isn't as hopping as it could be we do a lot of basic service and modding/race prep too. Give us a call if you need anything or just stop in to chat sometime! I'd like to organize a full-on meet at our shop sometime but for now I think I'll just be setting up a weekly cruise or something along those lines, just something to get the local BMW crowd together in my area too. :)

Did you work on my 540 when i brought it in last Summer for struts/shocks and CA Bushings? Been thinking I may need the arms and bushings looked at again ,occasional steering wheel shudder under braking. You guys put in M5 bushings which everyone said had the longest possible lifespan but I have been unable to avoid utterly savaging my front end in this New England area thru the winter and if its not my Rotors I'd have to guess Control Arm Bushings... You guys were great . I 100 % recommend you to anyone in the area.
Fidhle007 06-03-2008, 04:49 AM Yes, I believe I did! I was in and out more last summer but I'm there pretty much full time now, give us a call sometime and we'll get it in and see what's up with your car! I'd guess it's rotors because M5 bushings are usually pretty stout but you never know... Did we do both the thrust arm and the front CABS are just one set? I put a set of Delrin thrust arm bushings on a 540 this spring and it drove VERY nicely afterwards...

You did just the lemforder M5 bushings not the arms. DDD did the arms about a year before that and used some 7 series bushings then... I bought the rotors from some Azn guys in Lowell (http://www.designrt.net/). They came in brembo boxes for the fronts and the rears i was told were Zimmermans, all slotted and I have had Akebono ProActs on since new. Not to desparage the Rotor outlet but knowing the thriving "knockoff" Industry in China I have my suspicions the rotors are genuine Brembo.. the boxes looked the same but beyond that I have their word basically.
Fidhle007 06-03-2008, 05:07 AM Well, you're welcome to drop by and either Alex or I will go out with you and see what we think is up. If it's rotors it should be pretty obvious...I hope!
Oh, and thanks for the positive feedback!

smuggler617 06-03-2008, 11:35 PM So back to meeting in Portsmouth on the rooftop. What is a good day to do it up? I think sometimes it is easier to set a day and see who shows up rather than get a concensus...

I thought it was going to be gone this week?
A4Driver 06-05-2008, 01:08 PM It took until yesterday to get the inspector to come look at it. :(
I did come in to see you yesterday, but Gordo was in the showroom...

Fidhle007 07-06-2008, 03:07 AM Looks like something might be brewing for next weekend with the E30 guys, I'll post details as they come.
Sam 330ci 07-06-2008, 12:06 PM I realize this is extremely short notice, but by some strange aligning of the stars the girlfriend is out of town and I didn't get sucked in, therefore I am thoroughly enjoying having NOTHING to do this Sunday July 6th.:redspot
If anyone is around and wants to maybe get together and wash the cars or have a mini-meet in the Southern NH area I'm down.
Fidhle007 07-06-2008, 12:30 PM I'd be all over that but I have a gig. I'll be getting intoxicated at JP O'Hanlon's in Ayer, MA in the evening though. It's an old haunt of mine but also the gathering place of the BMWCCA AutoXers.
Sam 330ci 07-06-2008, 12:48 PM Hmmmmm.... tonight you say eh?
Alcohol you say?
perhaps I'll make an appearance..
Fidhle007 07-06-2008, 01:46 PM I'll probably be the guy on stage with the fiddle, knowing me... I'll do anything for a free drink!

I live in New London, but I dont own an M3 anymore:(
Fidhle007 07-09-2008, 03:55 AM Idea: Meet at my shop (Dublin, NH) at noon and then head across the state on some of the really great driving roads we have tucked away, ending at a possible bbq at one of my E30 buddy's place near Haverhill, MA. It's still in the works but for now, who would be in?
