Isn't that exactly what Sara is looking for? ;-) Alex E24 E30 05-01-2008, 08:45 PM Insane...wonder how much he's asking. Alex apbails 05-01-2008, 08:52 PM I'd like to see this car. Looks outstanding. Bert Poliakoff 05-01-2008, 09:14 PM If it really is such low miles, why is the overflow tank totally yellowed out ??? jbd5015 05-01-2008, 09:17 PM perhaps its just age? Not sure if thats what yellows those old plastics or what... -Jeff apbails 05-01-2008, 09:51 PM Windshield resov. looks pretty fresh. Take a close look at the underside hood cut-outs, perfectly clean. I'd like to get close to this car. We're talkin' some cowbell. e24mpwr 05-01-2008, 09:53 PM Windshield resov. looks pretty fresh. Coming from Anita, that means something :evil2 bmwlovr 05-01-2008, 10:25 PM What a shame to keep that car stabled for so long. I'd prefer a 50k mile car to this, unless I was just going to park it in a museum. Why would someone drive such an amazing car so little? Bluesman 05-02-2008, 01:29 AM Judging by the omission of a price and the only other one w/o a price is the Ferrari I would imagine a very healthy some indeed. Did anyone look at their other listings? Broke my heart, I had the exact same Healy 3000 with 61k on it when I rolled it six times (I was pronounced dead) Damn $70.000 I paid $800.00 and a LB of "Mexican green"for mine in 1973 so a total of $890.00 Lsixer 05-02-2008, 09:39 AM  I wonder if they take body parts as partial payment. jrbrough 05-02-2008, 11:48 AM This always reminds me of the Top Gear episode where they had a private owner lend them an enzo and the guy didn't even drive it there. He flew in by helicopter and flew out as well. I know a Ferrari is a little bit different but the owner of this car comes off as not really looking at the car as just a car that should be used. I bet I could last... maybe a day without driving it then I would put on more miles in one week then he did in five years. roccaas 05-02-2008, 11:51 AM Yep, asking $75 K and they say they have a deposit on the car. That will reset the market. As much as I like these cars, I can't see paying 1988 List for a car 20 years later. Mike323i 05-02-2008, 12:01 PM I can't see my lifestyle ever allowing me a white leather interior. Bluesman 05-02-2008, 12:25 PM again how about the Healy that is 10x the original price. And realistically you couldn't drive the Healy on the freeway without some Escalade or Hummer running over you.If I had the disposable income I would buy it. 75k in todays dollars is less than 58k twenty years ago.except ofcourse in income apbails 05-02-2008, 04:41 PM Yes, sports fans, it can be yours for a mere $75,000. Cowabunga! JayM 05-02-2008, 07:16 PM Yep, asking $75 K and they say they have a deposit on the car. That will reset the market. As much as I like these cars, I can't see paying 1988 List for a car 20 years later. I don't think it'll reset the market, it'll just raise some unrealistic expectations amongst those who may have a relatively clean, realistically low miles, M6. That said, there seems to be a lot of $40-50k asking prices for cars under 50k miles. roccaas 06-04-2008, 05:11 AM Still showing on their website. I guess $ 58K was a little steep. |
