Not really 7 Series related (or BMW related for that matter), but pretty funny.

I see that stuff all the time in Naples FL (where i went to highschool and where my parents live). Lots of bag systems

It's pretty nifty. I like it. Might not be my style, but it's great for clowning and grabbing attention.

What have you not owned Colin?

What was the purpose of owning that truck? To take to shows, and just to get attention in the streets? :redspot

That was my first car that I bought with my own money. I bought it to learn and fix up on my own. It's the truck that started my whole shadetree mechanic like automotive career, it's the one that got me interested in mod-ing, and working on cars on my own instead of relying on a mechanic to do it for me.

This cardomain has not been updated in years but you get the idea of what I did to it when I was 16 years old.

Wow, looks like the inside of my dad's 99 suburban! but it's a 72

I have to say this, cause I feel strongly about it. I love cars. Nothing drives me more crazy then hearing fellow 7 owners bash every car that isn't a 7. :(

Rigghhhttt... hes going to take it to shows with a blue fender and black door? lol Thats f-n awesome though Colin, I think adding your own touch to your cars is kind of what shows who you are. Im only 19 so im barely starting with the whole car stuff, but as far as I can remember my dad has been modding his vehicles and always very nice and subtle mods at that. We've had maybe 50 diff vehicles in the last 7 or 8 years.

One of my favs was a '89 Prelude which he bought for like $500. When he bought the car it had like 5 different colors. He put some money into it and had a Candy purple paint with 18 inch rims (note this was like 5 years ago). He put new speakers, headunit, and subs. Sold it like 2 years later. :(

Dude!
My favorite ride is my '72 Chevy Suburban!
Can't find any pics except one with profanities (the bird).

Any top notch mechanics you recommend. I need to get my suspension re-hauled. I hope you still got yours. I'm dying with mine. It's like driving around in my living room.

All original. I'd never get rid of those bench seats, how could your girl keep warm at night while driving with out a bench seat?

I sold my about 5 years ago, I do miss it dearly as it was my first truck.
I actually did all the work on my suburban. I overhauled my suspension in my garage and converted it from a 3/4 ton to a 5 lug 1/2 ton. I installed new bushings, balljoints, tie rod ends, spindles, wheel bearings, rotors, calipers, brake pads, and springs. It's not too hard to do, it's just labor intensive.

My old beast was pretty beat, when I got the truck it had only the front bench seat and was in dire need of being recovered. I opted to swap the whole interior for a late model set of seats from a Tahoe in gray leather. Post some pics of your burb, I would love to see it. I know 67-72 chevy trucks like the back of my hand.
