I dunno but can't wait to meet everyone on friday. I edited the top post and added info in terms of where, when and time:buttrock
stanksbeamen 05-01-2008, 02:34 AM Not sure either. I saw a Silver M3 and it had the license plate 95BMWM3 i think or something similar, that was right off air base pkwy.
e90dTm 05-01-2008, 10:35 AM :( I still don't have my car yet. It has been in Niello BMW in Sac since last Saturday. I hope they deliver it to me today. I need it for tomorrow lol I have to go on the Bimmerfest caravan :boink
stanksbeamen 05-01-2008, 09:00 PM what happened to your car?
e90dTm 05-01-2008, 09:30 PM the 3 cylinders in the back are rich and they dont know whats causing it so they have been swapping different parts that they think might have caused it. can a cold air intake cause this?
hopefully theyll be done with it tomorrow. i gues i wont even be making the caravan to bimmerfest :( i might not be able to make the suby meet either if i dont have it by then
stanksbeamen 05-01-2008, 10:02 PM Wow that sucks...I dont think a CAI would do that? :confused
Well tell them you dont want the car bc it cant be fixed and get that E46 :devillook
I would pick you up to go to the meet but i have to go directly to work after the meet. If you can get a ride home from someone, id be down to pick you up before the meet. LMK
e90dTm 05-01-2008, 10:28 PM lol they should be done by then :devillook i told them i was taking it to bimmerfest so they said that their no 1 priority would be to fix it for me by then. they have their top mechanic working on it
i'll just borrow the yukon to get to the meet. i was planning on seeing Iron Man after the meet tomorrow :buttrock
stanksbeamen 05-01-2008, 10:37 PM Cool good stuff!

5 bucks an hour? boo I thought it was free hahah oh well see you guys tonight!
polo12345 05-02-2008, 11:39 AM oh yeah so I installed my hids lastnight that I got from bavtoys I got the eliminator kit thinking it would prevent the lbf to pop up. But no luck do you guys just leave it on or cut that wire thing to disable it?
e90dTm 05-02-2008, 11:51 AM Yes, I just got a call from Niellow BMW and they are done with my car. It's kinda late for the caravan though

Hmm...you may want to contact them. I got my HID's from Understeer and didnt need anything you mentioned in your post. It was just plug and play. So are you getting the LBF (light bulb failure, correct?) on your OBC? Not really sure what wire your talking about to cut, never heard of problems with HID's before. Definately contact Bavtoys and get them to either refund you (cause it doesnt work) or help you out. Maybe you made a mistake, just look over it again. Maybe we can take a look at it tonight. Cya guys there, ill probably be early but i have to work tonight so i gotta leave by 9.

Nice, why do you want to caravan but not go to Bfest? Driving is fun, i can agree with that :stickoutt
stanksbeamen 05-02-2008, 01:02 PM Oh yeah, what was the problem with your car? Doesnt it suck that the nearest dealer is like 45-60 mins away lol...
polo12345 05-02-2008, 01:04 PM Yes, I just got a call from Niellow BMW and they are done with my car. It's kinda late for the caravan though
hey you know now that I think of it I think i've seen u before. Do you have a friend with a silver wrx, a black dc2 and a white rsx? If you have then I think you might of gone out to the meet before

no it's weird I know I did it correctly from what i've researched some cars get it and some cars don't. But thats why I ordered the eliminator kit thinking it won't do it. Yeah I posted the problem hopefully they can help me out. Or else I want a refund
e90dTm 05-02-2008, 01:33 PM yeah, vishual (indian guy w/ the STi), christian (black 98 gsr), and roland but he has a gray rsx. i dont ever recall going to that meet though. i might have just driven by by accident lol
i have to work tomorrow so i cant make the actual event. i was just planning on caravaning with the 400+ norcal bimmers for a couple hours
im going to head out in an hour or so, after i get my car back, and see if i can spot any groups heading to bfest
i need to add some highway miles to my car to burn the remaining cosco gas which might have caused my problem. i never new bmw only recommended chevron gas lol
taimaishuu916 05-02-2008, 01:41 PM Damn sucks that you missed out. I decided not to go anymore. AHAH.
e90dTm 05-02-2008, 01:51 PM Lol That sucks too. Hows the bimmer doing? All the E36's I've found in junkyards were < 95.
taimaishuu916 05-02-2008, 02:46 PM No luck or ppl ask for like 100 shipped. Trying to get it for like 80 or less. HAHAH! Bimmerfest best year!
