Any interest out there for a stock s50 3.0L crank, rods, or pistons? I'm currently rebuilding engine and using all new forged internals.

Engine had 134k miles. Crank is in excellent condition, no scoring, looks great. Rods and pistons look as any other used piston and rod would look. I'll be cleaning the piston faces, unless you would rather do that all yourself.

I'll post pics after work.

- s50 Crank - SOLD
- s50 Rods - SOLD
- s50 Pistons - SOLD

Is the crank forged?

I've been told by the owner of the shop I've gone to for 10 years that, yes s50 cranks are forged. And then you read around BFc and you'll read s50's are cast, but s52's are forged. I have both sitting in my garage, and both are really heavy. It's not like if it is true that if s50 is cast and s52 is forged, there really is no weight savings among the 2. Both are incredibly strong and will never break, just one has more stroke than the other.
