General Info:
Up for sale is my 1994 BMW 325is 5 speed coupe that was manufactured in May of 1994. The car has 120,xxx miles, looks and drives like new, and has much life left to give. It is a true work of art and I believe that there is no other e36 3 series that can compare to it. This car is an absolute blast to drive. I am the second owner and have owned it for about a year and a half now. I am selling because I need to purchase a 4 wheel drive truck for work. The car is the Schwartz II non metallic black and has all original paint with the exception of the truck lid which was keyed. It was repainted and restored back to new condition. The car has never been in an accident and it has never been driven during the winter. The interior is the dove gray leather with 18 way adjustable driver and passenger seats. There is some visual wear on the leather, mostly on the armrest and the left driver’s side seat bolster. The door panels, carpets, and dashboard are all in excellent condition. The A/C and heat both work excellent. People often think it is a $40,000 car based its beautiful condition. A few other factory accessories are traction control, heated seats, on board computer (tells mpg, average speed, etc.), auto slowing wipers, auto up/down windows, cruise control, tilt wheel, and more. The car also has many tasteful aftermarket modifications that greatly enhance its appearance, performance, and drivability which total over $10,000.

Interior:
-New Panasonic Radio
-Foot well speakers replaced a few years ago
-Carbon Fiber Momo shift knob
-Aluminum Pedals including dead pedal
-M racing aluminum e-brake handle
-Schroth seat harness’
-Silver oil temp, oil pressure, and voltage gauges

Exterior:
-Rear deck lid spoiler
-Custom painted AC Schitzer front lip
-New titanium color grille
-One piece, 5 spoke, 18” Hamann rims
-New Yokahoma Parada Spec-2 tires
-Brembo Big Brake Kit with EBC green pads
-Stainless steel brake lines
-Depo Angel Eye projector headlights (Glass lens)
-Clear corner front turn signals
-White bulb side turn signals
-New fog lights
-Upgraded tail lights

Suspension:
-H&R coil over dampers with springs
-Racing Dynamics front cross brace
-Aluminum rear cross brace
-M lightweight X under brace
-Racing Dynamics sway bars with urethane bushings

Engine:
-Custom intake with heat shield
-Super Chip
-Borla stainless steel exhaust and custom piping

Maintenance:
I have the service records for this car that date all the way back to when the car was new. They are on a personal Yahoo car log and have been updated every time a service was performed. The original owner was a General Motors engineer who worked as a mechanic for many years and did most of the maintenance himself with the exception of a wheel bearing. Only certified BMW technicians have worked on the car while I have owned it. Oil changes have been done every 3000-3500 miles with only Mobil One fully synthetic oil for the entire life of the car. Transmission and differential fluid changes every 30,000 miles. Spark plugs changed every 40,000 miles. OEM fuel filter changed every 30,000 miles. Full coolant flush every 2 years with OEM coolant used. Water pump and thermostat changed 4 years ago. Serpentine belt changed every 3 years. The hoses were changed in 2004. Guibo and center support bearing replaced at 60,000. New front control arms along with new tie rods. The car was fully waxed and cleaned 2 or 3 times a year. There is nothing wrong with this car at all. It is in beautiful condition and with the tasteful mods it looks better than new.

If you would like to talk personally please call my cell...860-790-0892. Price = $9900 O.B.O. I am in no rush to sell, but will entertain reasonable offers. Thanks for your interest.

Just had the oil changed 2 weeks ago and while it was up on the lift my mechanic checked it over quickly and said everything looked good.

this is an LSD with ... what ratio again ?
And you say you are the second owner ?
The reason for selling being ... ? as the whole truck story is negated by you offering this plus cash or other E36s :-)
Has the car ever been smoked in ?
Never any accidents or repaint other than trunk lid ?

can that log be viewed publicly ?

when exactly where the suspension things done ?
What about RTABs and the usual stuff in the rear ?

thanks in advance for taking the time to answer my questions.

Not sure of the LSD ratio.
Yes, second owner.
Yes, I do need a truck, I do landscaping. That wasn't a very serious offer on that other 325 over a month ago.
Nope, never smoked in.
No other accidents, some touch ups on the hood due to typical rock chips.
The log cannot be viewed publicly because the previous owner no longer has his yahoo account but i do have the logs saved to my computer.
I'm not exactly sure when the suspension work was done. By looking at the records I would say no earlier than 03. Based on other suspension/support modifications.
I'm RTAB's along with everything else in the rear are fine.

question when your driving around ct and all with your car lowered that much you ever experience any scraping of either the front lip or side skirts? and you said the car is like on an angle is there anyway to make it seem stable or linear from the front to the back?

h111rhl11
05-05-2008, 05:26 PM
Yes, sometimes it is unavoidable on the front lip. The sides never scrape.

WithinShadows8
05-05-2008, 05:35 PM
is there any marks underneath that are easily able to spot or is the scraping not that bad ?

h111rhl11
05-06-2008, 06:16 PM
You can see the scrapes if you get down on your hands and knees to look.
