I have a 2008 535i which I have had for 5 months. When I got the car I noticed that when I used the Navigation system for directions it was off by 50 - 100 feet (meaning I would already be at the intersection and it would say 100 feet to go to make the turn). I recently upgraded my DVD navigation disk to the 2008 version. Same problem.

Can anything be done by me or service to fix this. I had two previous Lexus cars and their navigation directions were right on.

seems odd, haven't experienced that......when using nav, do you use both screens for nav or do you just use the smaller far right one......i generally just use the far right one and return the main one to my ipod or whatever, but you'd always see the white directional line if you used both which might help you be sure you make the right turn, but i'd let the dealer drive it next time to see what they say.....

My 08 550 was doing that. I had the computer flashed with a software upgrade and it seemed to have fixed the problem. Don't know if it was a long term fix-i traded it in on a new M3.
