I'm thinking about putting a new exhaust on my 635. Anyone have any recommendations? I was thinking about going with Stebro.

I guess the question is, what are you looking for?

The quiet elegance of the original ...... or something a bit more throaty without being loud or droning inside at speed ...... or something loud enough to rival the ricers boom box at the stop light. :D

I suppose something a little louder and more throaty, yet I don't want to sound like a muscle car.

My setup is very race car throaty, but quite loud. I have an M with headers into a 2-1 cat, then a glasspack and a straight through Dynaflow muffler. I really like the tone, but at about 2200 rpm it drowns out the stereo. If you wanted a nice deep tone, but quieter I would say run the same, but add in a baffled dual output muffler instead of the straight through.

Someone just posted, here or on BigCoupe, a link to a video of a Stebro on a six.

I'll look into that, thanks. Yeah, I've seen the video of the 6er with the Stebro on it. Its off their webpage and you can find it on youtube. I think it sounds pretty good, anyone know the reputation of a stebro exhaust?

Here is an audio file. Not perfect, but the best I can do with a little camera. I am pretty sure my cat. is hosed and needs replacement, so don't mind the rattle.
