The drive will be fun and safe. No one is going to be doing 120 down grandma lane.

The Black Forest Run has always been about safe driving.
What is said on the forum doesn't count.

It's how we act and drive on the road.
I've never had an issue with the run.
If anyone drives like an A hole.........they're off the run - PERIOD.

I went last time in the snow and got stuck but it was still fun. I have driven around the area up there and want to do it again when it's nice out. I saw somewhere in this thread something about an August run too?

If we don't have a soccer tournament that day ( A note to you childless members...have your fun now!) I'm definitely going. If you guys fel like taking the scenic Route we could go up rt 15 via harrisburg and meet up with elf hearse and the gang.

Heh, thanks man, but it's not that. It's from my drunk driving thing I got caught for awhile back, so I can only use it to go to work. And I don't really have too many friends left, and the ones that I do, either lost their license(06' 330i drunk driving + accident = hasn't driven in years) and the other guy is too cool for school if you know what I mean.

The Jersey crew can meet us at the Rockaway Mall at 7 AM
or meet us at the Delaware Water Gap......just past the toll.
** If you are meeting us at the Rockaway mall ( Exit 35A ) Rt 80 W
We will be in the back by the AMC theatre lot.
BE THERE AT 7 AM SHARP.

For the rest of the members, we will be at the Delaware Water Gap by
8AM.

We will be heading out to the Black Forest Inn for a day of great cruising and great food.
The pool will be open, so bring your trunks.

I'm on a road trip during my move from Detroit to Denver and I'm stopping by the Black Forest to see some nice Bimmers.

It's going through the other drivers insurance. well, technically we have the same insurance company, but the other driver was at fault....

:( it does suck. It could have been much worse. The only damage is to the bumper itself. Once an adjuster looks at it, I'm going to ram the bumper back on, so it will look acceptable for the run. I'm just disappointed it won't look 100% for the pictures.

:evil2 I'm going to see about having an "M" bumper put on it, instead of the 328 with replica diffuser I had.

Does anyone have the route on a map as a jpeg or something I can look at?

I live in NY but I have a bunch of buddies staying at Bucknell over the summer (a few miles north of Selinsgrove on RT15 in PA) so I could meet up with you all around there if you will be swinging nearby and do the second half of the drive home.

Is there an itinerary or basically just cruising the whole time?

Steve i have 8 to 10 cars coming with me from NYC on the run, a few M3's from E30 to E46 along with an E34 535, E39 M5 and also my self E38 sport Euro spec.

3-4 of us are coming up past bucknell on 15 to meet up with everybody on rt 80. I am gonna try to figure all the distances etc. for timing the meet up close tomorrow. I am gonna make a rough guess of us being in that area 9-930ish.
