I'm planning a group drive to Lime Rock to watch the Vintage Sports Car Club races next weekend, if anyone is interested in joining in.
We will meet in the parking lot behind the Friendly's restaurant on RT-66 west of Middletown CT. For those who are GPS enabled, the meeting coordinates are: N41° 33.259' W 072° 40.833'.
We will plan to leave there around 09:30 and take a route that generally avoids highways and should be scenic. We will make a brief stop in Watertown CT to pick up a passenger, then continue up to Lime Rock with a estimated time of arrival generally around lunch time.
At this point it looks like me and 3 MGs for the trip. Bring your 2-way radio if you have one so we can keep in contact while we're on the road (and at the track for that matter.)
I sure hope some other BMWs (especially Z3's decide to come along).
