My 2000 540it does not have heated seats. I recently bought an M5 control panel with heated seat switches in the panel. I checked and fuse 32 is missing in the glove box so it is not prewired to the switch panel. I looked under my seats and there is an empty 3 wire connector with brown,white/yellow, and white/blue which is the appropiate colors according to the wds wiring diagram. If I wire from the switch panel to the seats, do you'all think it will work?

I am saying that the seats already have the heating elements installed, I just need to supply power to the seats. Since there is an empty connector attached to the seat with the proper wire colors, I am led to believe that if I get power to them, I will have heated seats.

Idk man, thats like having car w/o navigation but with the screen and the navi unit, but no wiring. why do u think they'd leave the expensive part in there (heating element) if the heated seats option isnt chosen?
