Hey there,
I have a dinan engineering performance chip for the e36. It was on my 1994 325is and worked wonderfully. It added very noticeable torque and HP, it also increased the redline and exhaust note at idle. This is a real dinan chip, not some fake copy of it.

Thats all the info thats on the chip. Im pretty sure this will work with any m50 vanos.

100 + shipping (no more than 5 bucks). This is the cheapest ive ever seen one go for. Get it while you can

Drift- I had it with a K&N CAI and an m3 catback and loved it.

m3- Indeed i agree, my butt dyno felt that it was a little quicker.

I have a 94 325is with a Racing Dynamic air intake and M3 stock exhaust. Looking into upgrading the exhaust, how will that affect the performance of the Dinan chip?

My impression of the dinan chip was that it was meant for basic bolt ons like intake, exhaust and underdrive. But it can also be used stock. Its a great chip. I really loved it in my 325.

Was the m50 non vanos only during 92? My family just got a 325i and i'm trying to learn a bit more about the E36s since i'm mostly in the E34 forum. I'd buy it from you if I was in the Bay right now.

I believe so, the m50 that came in the 92 was non vanos. 93-96 i believe was m50 vanos. 96-00 was m52 vanos. I think e46 uses the m52 vanos as well.

Camoflash,

I'm very interested in your chip. I have a '94 325is (manufactured 10/93). I presume it will work, but couldn't find the spec or actual PN on Dinan site - they say call. Anyway, if it's right, I'll take it. I'm in the Bay Area - Berkeley.

Nick. it will definately work. My 325 was the same exact year 12/93. As long as you have the vanos M50, it works.

I cant pm you for some reason, but give me a call at, five one zero- four nine nine- five five one two.

Thanks
Joey
