Here is the engine from a crashed 02 530i , 64xxx miles on the odometer.The VANOS unit housing,oil filter housing and valve cover are broken.A very small piece of the head where the VANOS bolts on is broken.It can be welded with no problems.I also have a used head and other parts ready to be installed.
Asking price is $2000 AS IS and $2800 with the replacement head,VANOS and the other broken parts installed.

I just bought another head and I can install it on the motor.
