specs:
car: 2004 bmw 330xi
head unit: panasonic cq-c8303u
amplifier: rockford power 500a
subwoofer: 2 kicker compvt shallow 10" 2omh
capacitor: 1.2 tsunami

i hooked up everything and serie wired the subwoofers into mono mode on the amplifier, however, i didn't hear any bass from the subwoofer
did i do something wrong ?

i tried stereo mode for the subwoofers too but didn't work either
all i hear is the bass from the bimmer subwoofer in the back

FYI, when you do post this there, include more info. You mentioned your components but not how you connected them together.

How did you connect the head unit to the amp? Sub out? RCA?

i'm using a Trunk-Loc PAC for the rca to amplifier

tapped rear speaker wires to the PAC, and rca to amplifier
with the HK cd player, i can hear the subwoofer very good
but with the panasonic i dont get any bass from the subwoofer
i dont know what is going on

hm. Without a wiring diagram of the factory system I will just be guessing but you have the factory HK system and I'll bet the panasonic hd unit is not hooked up properly to drive all the speakers. Likely the HK CD player is. Do you control the HK CD player volume with the panasonic head unit? If you do then I am probably wrong

If you turn on the Panasonic, listen to the rear speakers and see if they are playing music. If not, there's your problem.
