2000 323i 5 spd.

i recently slid on some ice into a curb, initially i thought my only problem was a scratch on my wheel but soon after the incident i started getting a vibration at start up (nuetral or in gear), it was more evident while driving in lower gears and seemed to go away in higher gears - i assume it is motor mounts. but now, this morning when i was leaving for work, i started the car and turned the steering wheel slightly and got an awful vibration. now it is doing it whenever i turn the wheel whether moving or not and it seems to be coming from the front driver's side. the noise/vibration is less noticeable at high speed.

any suggestions - i'd rather fix myself than take to the shop

Could be a lot of different things. Check your suspension and see if your endlinks are lose. You may want to do balance and alignment. Also check your control arms and bushing as well.

Start with those basics and then see if it is still there.
