I apologize in advance if this topic has been covered already but does anyone know how to remove the headlight or the bulbs from the headlight on a 2005 Z4? I have regular projectors and i want to swap those bulbs out with an aftermarket Xenon conversion kit (VisionBulbs) since i don't have Xenons. Thanks everyone. I hope people are a lot nicer on here than on Audi's forums where people rip your head off if you ask a question that has already been covered once before.

So you're putting in an aftermarket HID kit am I right? Okay well, BMW was nice enough to give us access to our headlight/foglight assemblies without taking apart the car. If you look in your front fender wells you'll see two panels directly behind where the headlight and fogs would be if there was no liner. On each liner is a slotted quarter size knob, turn both knobs and the panel should open outward like a door. You can remove the panel. Behind the TOP panel is the back of your headlight. You should see a metal bar running horizontally across a black rear cover, bend his bar DOWN and you should be able to wiggle off the rear cover. From there you should be able to figure out how to remove the plug, bulb, replace, reinstall.
And yes this question has been covered MANY times, it's even in your manual. Cheers
