This place is an absolute joke, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

I ordered an alternator Monday and paid extra for overnight shipping. They sent me a UPS tracking number Tuesday. I thought I was in good hands.

24 hours goes by and the UPS tracking number still does not work:

"UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later."

Package does not come Wednesday. I call the place up and "Linda" is their rep. In the back ground all you hear is other people talking away on phones, like she was in a busy airport or something. Linda's first language obviously is not English and she's hard to understand.

She tells me she's sorry for the inconvenience and that I will have my package the following day, Thursday. She tells me to ask for her next time. Thursday comes along and no package, the UPS tracking number still does not work either. I call them up again and ask for "Linda". The man says "Linda? Who's Linda?". I explain and he tells me over 400 people work at this call center and he doesn't know her......:mad

Fuming I explain the situation to "edwin" and he puts me on hold for 5 minutes as I listen to the shitty music and repetitive voice announcements. He comes back telling me HE called up customer support (WHAT THE FUCK?) and they're refunding the overnight shipping (woopty freakin doo) and I'll have it tomorrow.

I tell him that's the same story I had yesterday and how huge of an inconvenience this is becoming. This is my DAILY DRIVER. I try and get more information on who he called and he will not tell me. This is just a middle man filter that handles thousands of calls a day for businesses. Nice huh?

He assures me it has been shipped and UPS' site is wrong. I don't believe this bullshit and hang up.

I call UPS and ask if the tracking number is in their system, "they have no record of it".

I am extremely aggravated, I wish I never ordered from these assholes in the first place. I hope they rot in hell. I did a domain lookup and got the name "dick pine" who lives in trenton, nj. Couldn't find any more info on him, probably a made up name. Apparently "alloembmwparts.com" is part of a much larger company that sells all different car brand's parts, this is only one of their many shitty websites.

These people are pieces of shit, they DO NOT CARE how well your customer experience goes.

Whatever you do, by all means STAY FAR AWAY FROM Alloembmwparts.com.

NOPE

I just spent an hour on the phone with UPS and these retards. UPS wants to open an investiagtion case on the tracking number they provided me. They have no record of the number ever being issued and don't see how the company generated it.

I called the company and spoke to "sebastian" to see wtf is going on and only got dead ends. I am fuming at this point.

I'd like to add the place I work at (Lexus) was able to hook me up with carquest. I ordered a bosch 140 amp alternator at 5pm Friday and picked it up 830 am the next day. It was $188+tax. No shipping, no BS, exactly what I wanted.

epj3 I also ordered some AST 4100's, they'll be here tomorrow!!!!! Sooo excited :D

Unfortunately this is the way many small business work. It is a lot cheaper to outsource their CS to a consulting company who handles that kind of stuff isntead of spending the money to hire and train them. Sucks to hear, but that's why we stick with the more reputable companies to begin with. Or at least the ones that many people have heard of and can vouch for.
