I'm fairly local and interested. Is there any backstory to these like they were used in a bimmer with factory radio or so?

I used the Pioneer (TS-A1665) 6.5 3-Way Speakers up front in my e30; powered by an Alpine CDM-7871 deck using 22 watts rms. No rear fill, I’m not a fan of frequency above 200HZ playing from behind me in a small car.

AudioBahn (AMD50 Midrange speakers) 5.25 were used in the rear doors of Jeep Grand Cherokee along with the Premier Pioneer (TS-D901P) 6X9 REV 2-Way Speakers in the front. A Pioneer (DEH-P6700MP) head unit powered both sets of speakers.

I have no need for them, these speakers have been setting in the closet for the past two years and half taking up space. I assure you each speaker works fine.

Thanks for that explanation. I've been interested in upgrading from my stock HK system and don't really want to upgrade the head unit. I'll marinate on it and let ya know.

The 6x9's and 5.25's match current sizes but I allegedly (according to Crutchfield) have 6.75's and not 6.5's. Does that sound like a significant difference that wouldn't fit? Smaller is better than bigger but I'm curious and haven't taken the panel off to view the area of the speaker to see what kind of area there is to play with.
