There is a youtube video link in the above thread
I secured the series win in NV3 after completing the sweep of the spring series.....not too shabby for a 20+ year old BMW with over 200K miles on it!

how long have you been auto-x'ing the e28?
ever had a chance to compare it to an e34? just wondering how big of a diff it will be. been thinking about trading the e34 for an e28...or maybe e30 :shifty

I've auto-xed the E28 since Nov 2007, and in about 8 events, so it hasn't been very long.
I suggest trying an E30, depending on the SCCA class you want to run. The E30 is much lighter than the E28 and the 91 318is would be a great little BMW for G-stock especially with the M42 engine. I plan to look into that option in greater detail over the summer and may use a 318is in the fall series, or may wait until next spring...I'll have to see how the money goes.
If you're planning on running auto-xs regularly then avoid the E34, it's heavy and not as nimble as the e28 or E30.
If your brand of car is unimportant then a nicely prepped (late 80s early 90s) Honda Civic Si is quite impressive in the right hands.
Good luck with whatever you choose.

Here's one that was made a little while ago. I show up around the 50sec mark.

I've added H&R springs and Billie Sports since then.

That course is just funny...I love our courses at Qualcomm, the last one had some fun high speed sections, I would get into third for just a couple of seconds on one straight.
