Tire Balance or out of round tire, has the car sat for any length of time, square tire?
Also if older tires or wider tires, maybe tracking the grooves in the roads.
Idler arm?
Steering box?

Turn up the radio and live with it??? :)

Back when I had my 2000 S4 I took it to TKO Motorwerks in Auburn....

They specialize in VWs, Audis, and BMWs....

The owner's name is Thip (pronounce Tip) and he is an avid ///M fan...I believe he owns E30, E36, and E46 ///M3's....

Always got great customer service and solid work done on my Audi so you might want to check them out.

If you are near Gig Harbor, I own shop that specializes in Euro vehicles, mainly in Porches and BMW's.

I charge nothing for diagnostics and I am very competitive for cost on parts and labor. I have the full GT1 BMW diagnostic system & 2 techs that are highly experienced in BMW's.

My business hours are

10:30am to 5pm Saturdays

If no one answers at the shop, leave a message or reach me at my cell. 253-228-7463

I do need to get a better answering machine for the shop.

I do have a line on performance parts, other than performance rotors and pads, the price I can hook you up on is pretty much the same price that you can get stuff off of ebay.

For suspension, I have a direct line on all Bilstein suspension kits.

for example; the GM5-B567-H0 kit for 96' to 99' M3's lists for $2077, I can hook it up for $1283 +tax

I also have a line on ANSA exhaust, same exhaust that Ferrari uses.

So if you want a hook up on pads, rotors, exhaust & suspension, even oem parts, I am your source.

If your steering is dead on center than odds are it's your steering box. The bad news is the E34 M5 steering box is very expensive.

I am also a former E45 M5 owner.

Fixed - just a slip of the keys, 34 and 45 are next to each other :(

I dont have much of a line on lowering suspension, I'd check out ebay.

for as front struts go, performance wise, I can get you:

Bilstein heavy duty for $140 each, list is over $220 each

Bilstein sports for $110 each, list is over $198 each

KYB GR2 for $65 each, list is $125 each

Koni sports for $160 each list is $267 each
