I don't frequent CL often... or at all, however G's thread had me looking at prospective cars there and I found this (http://atlanta.craigslist.org/car/608033123.html).

Is this anyone on here selling?

If not, does anyone have experience buying vehicles off Craigslist? Advice? :help

Thanks :evil2,
-Chris

I would think a PPI and a test drive is all that is required. Just like buying from the news paper....Is that what you are asking??

IMHO that is a bit overpriced or make an offer. If you look around now 02 M3s with a few more miles than that are often available in the lower 20s.

+1, although it does seem a little high on the price. I wonder how negotiable the seller is. :ponder

Just not sure about the red seats. I think I would grow to hate them over time.

Have him knock $5k off for that godforsaken Longhorns tag on the front.

And it says cold weather package, but I don't see headlight washers in the pics.

I'm looking for coupe, manual, and less than 50k on the clock. Silver is "okay"... but I'm more of a Black or White kind of guy. Imola would be sweet too, but not too many of them around. It is hard planning to justify buying a car you aren't absolutely in love with.

Where have you seen the lower 20k's around?

Thanks :buttrock,

I see them on Ebay, Autotrader, Cars.com, Bfc and M3forums. Try a search on auto trader, I bet there is 30 nationwide less than 25K. Of course you may have to travel and compromise on color.

A local..ish car with the right color is worth a bit more, especially with low miles. It depends how much hassle you can stand for $5K :-) I am just a dreamer so there is no hassle factor :-)
