Dont know what others do, but its easier to communicate throughout a caravan with the little short distance CB radios. ive got 2 that i plan on bringing, although i need to scrounge for batteries...

anyone else think its a good idea for them? It would at least make it easier on the larger caravans...

I figure channel 6 would be appropriate...

Not sure...but honestly dude, i dont think we are the ones to be worried in the group.

case and point:

taylor = turbo 6er,
mike = M6,
george = euro 6er (dirty motor)

We with our piddly little north american motors have got no chance haha...especially me with no chip : (...

But, to answer the question about the radar, i think your ok, and you've got dibs on the radio...

I've got a CB I use for traveling. Will have to check with some of the guys in my group to find out if anyone's using one.

I think JBD is actually talking about FRS radios. I don't think they are capable of CB frequencies.

yea, its the little walky talkies, not a REAL cb radio like the big rigs and cops have. just little 2 ways set to a certain channel that are good for like 2 miles...
