Anyone know of a tire shop that has a no touch machine to mount and balance two 98 M3 (235/40/17) rear tires and can do it for a reasonable rate? I live in Marietta, zip 30067.

I would be bringing the car to the shop; rear wheels would need to be taken off, old tires removed and mount the new ones that I have.

I've called places and they want $50-$90 bucks per tire... I thought the rate was cheaper than this. :help

Try Pep Boys. They have all 4 for $88 with new stems and everything. I'm not sure of the type of machine though. They have never scratched any of the wheels I have them mount/balance.

Took my Pantera GT5 wheels to Butler in Alpharetta...... about the only place I trusted after waiting 7-months for the custom made wheels.

Thanks for all the advice fellas.

I had to go to Pep Boys to get some cleaning stuff for the car. Alpharetta would have been slightly far off, so asked them on the price + time and ended up getting them mounted/balanced at Pep Boys here in Marietta.

Approx 30 mins later and $41 for both, no scratches and a job well done.:buttrock Stood there to make sure everything was fine... car feels brilliant (or maybe I just happen to fall in love everytime I sit in this thing)!:D Thanks Yellow2. Next time shall try out Bimmerdawg @ Butler tire since its just $20 more, but worth it if you don't have to stand around and know things will be done properly.

It's also worth it for having them done right the first time (no lack of confidence in G's crew).

The comfy chairs and good reading material are nice too.
