I'm visiting NYC this week from Atlanta. Up here with my girlfriend while she works to take advantage of the free hotel room.

Anyone got any events, cool stuff to do (car related or not) while in NYC this week? I'm already on my search for a fake Rolex for my buddy back home.. :eyecrazy

chinatown was cool for fake goods, but they recently did a bust and they don't really sell it no more. i'm heading there today so i can double check for you.

but anyways, there are plenty of places to go, especially to drink... go visit ground zero, times square, go to central park, visit the MOMA (my favorite museum), and go to ct323i's club i guess

Also, you can try sullivan room. I dont remember exactly where it is, but im sure you can google it. Its a fun place too, and drinks are MUCH cheaper (pacha is like 10$ a drink)

I was just there last weekend and the fake bags, watches clothes are easy to get. The Africans and the Chinese got the hook up! They'll bring the goods to you while you wait or the little shops have secret rooms in the back, just about all of them. Anything you want can be had in minutes.

i went yesterday.Then you just aren't connected. Because they are there in FULL FORCE. You just have to know who to approach, how and what to ask. I was led into one of those small shops with all the t-shirts and no-name bags by a chinese lady and behind the register in the back, one push of the wall led us into a secret room full of other shoppers with all the "good stuff" and this was not a crawl space, it was a whole new store. They let people in and out one at a time when the coast was clear. When the door/wall was closed, you would never be able to guess that it was there. I asked one of the African guys on the street about a LV duffel bag and he whipped out a laminated paper with about 50 pictures on it and after I pointed out the one I wanted, he said wait here and was back in 2 minutes with the exact bag. So they're out there, you just have to be 'in the know"

i know what your talking about. my mom bought a LV bag like that. i'm just saying that the OP wouldn't know about that if hes just gonna be touring around. flushing also sells that crap and so does jamaica ave. i gotta ask my friend where the store was that sells the "bapes".

Find that restaurant that serves the $100-200 burger!

If you like JAPANESE/STEAK/SEAFOOD all you can eat buffet, go to 31st between 5th and Madison for a treat - restaurant is called Minado or now Todai, about $25 pp diner and $15 lunch
