Tell me why should I go with $250 chips vs $100. And don't bring up that thing about "if it's cheap there must be a reason". I was trying to find some info on the cheaper chips but everyone just talks about wolf and how they love him. Has anyone bought from that other guy on ebay?

tried the other guy and tried Wolf. There is no comparison, no problem with the Wokke chips. The Vien chips were crap, but ymmv...

Also, all of the "cheap guys" testimonials are actually from Wolf's customers about Wolf's (Wokke) chips. Makes you kind of wonder why "his" customers don't leave testimonials... hmmmm?

You get what you pay for. Wolf will hook you up and help you out through the whole process on install, etc.

BTW, Wolf's chips are without a doubt one of the best upgrade I've done to my car.

is there any proof that "the other guy" copies wolf's chips or is it hear say? Reason I am asking is because the "other guy" claims chips come from same place wolf gets them. Also his ebay account has nothing but positive feedback, which would be kind of hard to get if there were "problems".

I personally have gotten to know Wolf (speak to him in German on several occasions) and not only does the "copy-cat" use the same image (Wolf design), but his claim to get them from the same place only holds merit in so far as Wolf does his own programming and buys blank chips - so, yes it is possible they buy them from the same place, but they are BLANK, until Wooke's program is copied onto them.

I see, well I am just curious what all the fuss is about since really there hasn't been much talk about the other guy. They get them from same place as I understand as well. But my question is, where does the program come from? Did Wolf make his own or did he get it from BOSCH?

Now that makes perfect sense! I was under impression the program was same for both of them.

the other guy might still say they are the "same" but the fact is he's really a pos that is copying the chips. for moral reasons, I would not buy from him. Sometimes the money is not worth the compromise.

go with the wolf!!!! it is the only way to be sure. big improvement from a trustworthy great guy.

I had a problem with my DME2 chip and Wolf sent me another express mail at no charge...Don't go with the other guy like SSC said just for the moral reasons..Get the real ones , and get someone who will stand behind his product..And they're one of the best if not the best upgrade you can do to your car...
