Sorry no video.
Ran with a new E92 M3 today at Infineon. I have a stock E92 335 with 255 17s all around as my only mod.
He wasn't an especially good or bad driver but this is about the car.
It was amazing how he could take lines that didn't make sense and his speed didn't suffer much. It was so much more planted than my car.
I have to get all lines exactly right to be fast but it's even more improtant if I want my car to feel good. The M3 didn't seem to suffer due to bad lines. It would just settle into whatever he gave it and make a potentoially not-so-good situation OK.
The power wasn't mind boggling but I think the driver was babying it a bit. Even with the light gas pedal I couldn't gain on him in a straight, even with a perfect exit. The driver was a true gentleman so he would let me by pretty readily.
I bet once he's used to the car I won't be getting by him anymore.
In a really good driver's hands it must crazy fast.
I WANT ONE!!!...so I can be moderately fast.
