View Full Version : DDM Takes a long time

I ordered some lights and a black out grill on April 6th. The lights i ordered are the benjamin box lights that does not ship till the 21st and I still have not been charged 2 weeks after my order went through. I have spoken with APXDM 4 times and i sent another message this morning. I have heard nothing but great reviews about DDM which made me purchase from them, i hope by me making this post i can get this issue solved. :help

They generally don't charge your credit card until they are ready to ship your order. People tend to get upset when their credit cards have been charged for a product they haven't received.

I imagine that your credit card and package will be shipped out in the next couple days

thats what they did to me after I canceled my order because they were out of stock. A month later I'm in over draft in my bank account and a box shows up on my front porch. Sent it back the next day, still waiting for the money to be credited back to my account.
They have great prices, just not good communication.
The easiest way to get ahold of them is to call them, not through pm. Call and talk to paul or marcus.

Every company i have ordered something from charge my card that day or the next day. My problem is that it has been 2 weeks and i haven't been charged which means ive had to make sure the money is in my account everyday so i do not get an over draft.

But most folks rather have the vendor charge their card when they are ready to ship. You should call them and asked that they called you first before they charge the card.

All you were hear in here is how great DDM is..they have disappoint me again and again. Best way is to call everyday till you get a solid answer I reckon.

Hey Alex,
The Benjamin Box deal was a preorder deal which starts shipping today.
Which is the reason it hasn't been shipped yet.
Im not sure why your payment did not go through, Paul just took care of that for me.

Thank you! I just checked my account and it has been charged. It was becoming a pain in the ass having to remember to keep the money in my account. cant wait to get the lights and grill and install them.

To the guys at DDM, just wondering on the status of my shipment as well. I also preordered the Benjamin Box Apexcones, which it says will be shipped out on the 21st. Just wondering if mine have been shipped yet and if so, when they'll be arriving. Thanks alot!

If you guys have questions about your orders, you should CALL them. You can't really expect them to monitor every thread that mentions DDM, can you? I dealt with them via telephone (even though I live in Canada, and it cost me a few cents) and I got nothing but superior A+++ customer service. In fact I ended up shooting the breeze for a bit about the car, and having general questions answered. I never felt rushed, or like I was a bother with all my questions. They seemed more than happy to help. I'll definitely be dealing with them again, and again...

Hi guys,

I'm sorry I've been gone for several weeks on business and unable to post.

Let me give you an update on what is happening with the lighting deliveries. We've been just a tad bit more than successful on the sales of the lightnig packages over the past couple of months. Not that this is an excuse but as usual, sales vastly exceeded expectations and supply. We will likely be caught up tomorrow. We have been shipping lights all week and preparing them as fast as possible with 4 installers building lights every day since the 21st. It has gotten to the point that we ran through all of our H1 bulbs and have had to airfreight in more. They arrive tomorrow so we are furiously prepping the remaining DEPO and Apexcone headlights for the bulb delivery tomorrow morning.

At that point, we should be back to normal.

Additionally, we have hired two more fulltime employees. Wesley has been added to our manufacturing and shipping department effective today. Casey has accepted a position with us in sales and support and will be starting with us fulltime on June 1st. We'll see if we can get him working on the forums remotely before then.

This brings us up to 16 employees. We will likely be moving again in the near future as its getting a bit cramped here.

We will also soon be announcing a new company in the DDM Family of companies. We are gong to be bringing some of our other wholesale/importing businesses to the retail market. I think you'll be pleased with our offerings and pricing. Well make some announcements in about 4 weeks.

Thanks for the update!!!!! I ordered the Apexcone deal last friday and am excited with the purchase. I think we all understand the delay, and all feel its much worth the wait for a deal like this. Thanks again Jim and will be ordering more from ddm!!!
