Hi All
I am looking at 545i, 6spd manual with 48k miles on it.
Dealer is asking $ 30.5k, Person with whom I talked there was new and wasnt sure about the warranty.
It has NAV, SPORT PACKAGE, COLD-WEATHER PACKAGE, LOGIC 7 SOUND & PARKING SENSORS.
This is a california car,
Please let me know what should I do? Also, can any BMW dealer tell me history of this car if I have its VIN?
thanks

for warranty info, run carfax and it should show you when the warranty expires. Also, the dealer should give you some basic warranty - that's pretty much the only reason to buy from a dealer vs privately. as I was told, original warranty cannot be extended by BMW (as on a CPO car) unless you're the original first owner, so for extended coverage you will only be able to get aftermarket warranty. And people say its well worth to buy the extended maintainance plan from BMW for these cars, as even basic maintainance gets pretty pricey. Good luck, man!
Is this car at a BMW dealer or some other dealership? If it is I am wondering why it is not a part of their CPO, certified pre owned program. The original warranty is 4 years/50,000 miles. I am surprised the salesmen was was clueless.

Thanks for replies
I forgot to mention that this dealer is not a BMW dealer.
He is selling Lot of BMWs tho and I saw him selling these cars for about 5 to 6 years now in Bellevue WA.
Is the extended warranty bought from 3rd part is similar to BMW warranty? OR is anything diff in there?
I am tired of looking for a CPO car as they are all automatics...I am looking for a while now....
Please help
I can understand your desire for the six speed manual. That was one of my "must-haves."
My last two cars have been BMW CPO cars. I do not know anything about third party warranties but I have heard of other people who have gotten them.
How far have you searched for a CPO car? There are quite a few listed on the BMW website, it all depends on how far you want to go to get one.
Good luck.

I mean I am looking in my area and 75 miles around it. No One has any manual tranny car.
I dont want to buy from Ebay. or outside state. so.....
Any ways...I will keep looking.
Good luck with your search. It is harder finding the car you want when you buy used, but every day someone is trading in their used car for a new one so hopefully you'll find one soon.
