well after a few months of owning my 95 m3, I just noticed that I have a 6 cd changer in the trunk. How much would something like this be worth? I can include all the mounting hardware, the cover, and a cartrige (sp) for the cds
Thanks

lol its not worth anywhere near $400, first make sure it works. on average i think they go for around $100 if its in good shape, also 96+ cant use it, they use different connectors so you're stuck selling it to someone that has a pre 95
edit: I'm assuming you're talking about an OEM BMW CD changer

Don't you think your post is misleading not to mention useless when all you post is how you bought yours new for $400? As you can tell by the next post you gave the OP false hope.
I'm not going to comment on the $400 price tag you paid, but i think someone else took care of that.
I was just letting the OP know whats the average price I've seen them go for. That's all.

I was telling him the average price they go for brand new. I told him how much it was worth new so he can compare his with the new cd changer and reduce the price he will be trying to sell his at by comparing the condition of his cd changer with the new one. Again, it doesn't mean he has to sell it at that price. Do you not get what I'm saying :confused there should be no reason for you to criticize my comment ;)
I only replied to your "not worth no where near 400 comment" because they actually are worth around 400. :D

I'm not criticizing your post just pointing out a couple key points that might have been overlooked. Few people would buy the stock cd changer and even fewer would buy it new for $400+. I'm sure you know you could've gotten a mint unit for less then half that. And telling him the price new doesn't help with coming up with a "used" price. It's not even the same changer plus it's all about demand and supply, some things only loose 10% of their value while others 90%.
This is getting a little off topic now I'm sure you meant well and so did I, no hard feelings.

go to the forsale section and you'll find several for sale. Seems like the average price is around $75. Here are some.
