View Full Version : Back in a BMW...
DocWyte 04-20-2008, 06:49 PM Well, S4 avant met an untimely demise via a minivan. I searched around for another all wheel drive turbocharged car, but I didn't want to get a STI or an Evo.
Found this locally for a good price, liked it, so I bought it. Came with a short shifter, zcp shift knob, omp pedal covers, tint, clear bra, CPO'd till August, 19 stock wheels plus these 19" ZCP reps (which I'll most likely sell if anyone wants em), xm radio, bluetooth, h&r sport springs (will also be for sale) etc, etc.
I like it, doesn't have the power that my S4 had, but it's a really tight car and ironically has more rear legroom than my S4...

WantingE36m 04-23-2008, 12:55 AM Damn Doc, you still around these parts huh? Sorry to hear about the S. Never did hear how that week long race went. Hope all is going well done in Denver for you and the misses.
I just popped in here to see about trying to sell the ACS wheels again and noticed you were here. Figured I'd say hello. so, hello.
Later,
Mark
Cloudbase 04-23-2008, 11:56 AM Nice Find, what year?
STL Avus M3 04-23-2008, 12:36 PM Sorry to hear about the wagon, but congrats on the new ride.
From the pic, I am guessing its a color you have to see in person to appreciate. Nice to see an E46 that isnt white, silver, or black.
DocWyte 04-23-2008, 12:50 PM It's a real dark green. Sometimes looks black. It's an '02, only has 30k miles on it.
Good to hear from ya Mark!
mrnvgtr 04-23-2008, 01:11 PM I love that color. It looks like Boston Green which is one of my favorite colors on newer BMWs.
stilov 04-23-2008, 09:21 PM something funny about Oxford Green...it is dark. My X5 is that color and I got a parking ticket for a "black" x5
rm95m3 04-24-2008, 01:02 AM Cool color! Congrats on the new ride and I'll keep an eye out for ya on the mean streets of Denver.
John in Houston 04-25-2008, 02:25 PM Was that your car sitting at Bimmerhaus this morning? If so, it looks really nice. I had not seen that dark green before... looks great on the car.
I was there picking up my rollbar which Grant dropped off last night :D
DocWyte 04-25-2008, 04:16 PM Yep, that was it. Dropped it off there Wednesday night to have the valves adjusted, coolant flush and my magnaflow exhaust installed.
