OK before I get stampeded let me explain the particulars...

I've been speaking with an EBAY vendor about getting a 3-piece LTW wing. One with removable center blocks so you can run the wing high or low. He will be done with his mould in 2 weeks.

This is how the wing will be constructed. Here's an EXAMPLE of the existing TWO-piece LTW wing he gets now...

NOTE I HAVEN'T PLACED ANY ORDERS YET FOR THIS WING.
My intention is to get a sample unit first, inspect, report back to you guys and then order.

This GB is for interest only. Thus you DO NOT NEED to send any money. Once the sample wing arrives to me and I *THINK* it's good, I'll contact everyone and then will place an order. The unit will wholesale for $400 (yes CHEAP!) BUT it's also being shipped from China and then will be shipped to you. So budget for $500. I'll let everyone know how much shipping is once the unit gets here. I'm not a vendor. I'm not gonna make any profit. But I will talk to EDGE and see if they want to warehouse/carry these units afterward.

Sure thing, we have 3 so far. I'd like the GB to be around 20, that's my goal. With more, it'd be easier to negotiate a cheaper China to US shipping price.

And yes, technically it's a "4-piece" kit. Ha ha ha... but we say 3 as in 3-sections.

Everyone else - I'll take pics from all possible angles once I get the production model in about 2-3 weeks. I DO NOT plan on making any decisions or overtures to the supplier until I get that and see for myself the quality, weight, finish, etc.

All good. I just have been wanting a LTW spoiler w/ removable risers so I am a bit impatient for the release.

:) I've exchanged a couple of emails with the supplier AND also lined up an online vendor to take over the relationship... So just waiting for the production model to show-up at my door in a week or so.

if u can actually remove the spacers from the high ltw i would look into it, but would have to see it on a car first

Jon, that's a 2 piece wing... the OEM LTW Wing is a 3 piece or 3 section unit.

People want the 3 section type because you can choose to either run it high for the track and then low for around the town driving (and less of a ricer look).

Ok good news gents... the first prototype is good. I have to plunk down an initial deposit to get the sample shipped to me. I'll report back when it arrives.

OK HOLD, bad news... I am getting clarity on what the vendor is actually making. He said he was going to make these units as a production run... BUT NOW it seems these are one off, made to order. Normally not a big deal BUT... doesn't assure me that the total run would be consistent.... meaning with fiber glass units, you can sand down odd corners or wavvy-ies... but not with a carbon unit.

I talked to MASHAW about a 1.5 yrs ago on the price for a group buy and he really wouldn't budge to make it worth while for eveyrone to get it at once. Maybe now he will change his mind, but he said that the mark up is low, and thats had laid when you order it. Lets see what you can do

If you click on the above link, it shows that I bought one with a best offer of $250.00. The fit was good, required drilling out new holes though... The weave looked great, and the finish was very good. I left it Carbon for now. If they offered it again I would buy another one just to have sitting around. They shipped it very fast from China I think, might have been Japan, don't remember.
