Need work done after a 9 hour DIY went sour. Looking at either Bavarian Specialties in King of Prussia. Or Southhampton imports. I have heard good things about both places. Anyone have any experience with either? im in South jersey by Atlantic city and need my car done ASAP for an affordable price by a reliable mechanic.

With Mike Yaskin at Bavarian Specialties you can't go wrong. He has done wonders with my track car.

Thanks Noah, I Talked to paul today. Hes doing a remanufacutred VANOS unit for 300, labor 422, plus Im supplying him with Expansion tank, Thermostat, Water Pump, Fuel Filter and Oil Filter with an oil change all said an done for 1100...including the VANOS and Labor. Not that bad. I was expecting to get raped. I Tried the VANOS Rebuild and i did it exactly like the DIY said and the problem persists, so im going to let them have a wack at it.

Yea, paul is a good guy. He knows his shit. I'm really weird about my car, i dont even like the gas station guys filling my tank, yet i'm 100% comfortable with these guys working on my car. I'm about to bring my car back for a new LSD in a week or so when my tax $$ shows up. MY car will be the auto X king! Good luck with your VANOS, i'm sure it'll be good as new soon :)

Pete is a great guy at Bavarian and definately knows his stuff. Mike knows alot yes, I just dont like his attitude sometimes. But I will still vote for Bavarian. P.S. Mark850, I believe I worked on your 8 series.
