Over the past couple days my car which is a 95 m3 has developed this noise from underneath when i hit the gas in 1st and 2nd gear then stops when i hit 3rd, heres a video to make it simple so you guys can hear it any suggestions on what i should be checking?

EDIT: I put it up on the lift and the noise is coming from right around the differential when the back wheels are turned any simple solution that may work or will this just be an expensive fix most likely?
