:help:help i've only been a e39 driver for the last few weeks but recently i noticed that my e39 with factory sports suspension sits round 15 mm higher on the passager side than it does on the drivers side :( i've checked the height measurents against another another e39 with sports setup and it seems that it's not my driver side sitting low ! it's the passager side sitting high :( has anyone any sugguestions ???? i'm thinking that the previous owner has had something replaced and the correct measurements haven't been checked before everything was tightened up ........the car had just passed it's road test cert so i'm pretty sure it's not a spring or shock problem .....any input would be great )

Possibly either a spring pad has been left out (or gone missing) or if thrust arms or bushes were replaced by PO, possibly the passenger side retaining bolt was torqued up with no load on the suspension - leaving the bush acting like a small torsion spring (in which case it will probably fail soon!)

+1 for the possibility of a rear control arm getting tightened up in the fully unloaded position. Suspension components should be tightened while the vehicle is at ride height.
