Hello all. Iam new to this forum but a BMW fan for life. I just picked up a 1997 540i AC Schnitzer s5. I believe the s5 package to be genuine but need to verify. More on that later. Here is my question: This car currently has 18x18.5 all the new around. I also have a 1995 525i that I am selling. Will the rims off the 540i fit the 525i? Also, I want to do an aggressive drop on the 540i- I it looks like the H&R are the biggest drop(without doing coil overs)
If I do this drop, can do 19x8.5/19x9.5 without rubbing/ rolling the fender? Any input or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Looks like you guys are real enthusiasts about BMWs which is right up my alley! Thanks in advance!

the 19's should fit without rubbing depending on the offset of the wheels.. h&r gives a nice drop but ride quality suffers. i also run 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 and theres no rubbing issues only back pains and wallet pains from hitting NY potholes and fixing rims

+1 on the 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 fitment as long you run proper offsets and tire sizes.* Here's what to look for-19x8.5 front- offset range of +13mm to +20mm, 245/35-19 tire19x9.5 rear- offset range of +20mm to +25mm, 265/30 or 275/30 tireNote you may rub with 275/30 rear tire depending on your lowering and brand/model of tireThe 18" wheels from the E39 540 will fit the E34 525 only with use of hubcentric rings, E39 hub bore is larger 74.1mm size.* All other Bimmers have 72.6mm hub bore
