this is very urgent because i sold my car yesterday and they are waiting on me to fix the caR! so a couple weeks ago my 325 started leaking coolant and overheating..i changed the thermostat and bled the air out of the sytem. The car stopped overheating but was leaking coolant off and on because i didnt tighten a hose up enough. But before i had time to fix that it started overheating on me last night out of nowhere! So today i tightened the hose up but something is still wrong..its no longer leaking but its starts to get hot after idling for 10 min or so..it doesnt get hot when i get out and drive it though. help would be appreciated!

Try bleeding it again and check every hose. Did you refill the coolant after you found the leak?

Could be head gasket, if you let it overheat a few times. You knowingly sold a broken car to someone else without telling them?

Sounds like you're screwed.

Actually, maybe your fan isn't kicking on when it should. Try searching the E36 forums for possible causes. We can't solve your problem for you over the internet.
