I found online how many pounds the Toyo T1-Rs are that I'm running, but want to see what is the weight of the Style 5s. Trying to light weights as much as possible, so that I can try to save some money on gas.

Also, any of you guys have any other ideas for weight reduction, with an exception to running lighter wheels, lighter battery, etc etc? I was thinking of changing the sport seats to standard regular luxury seats. I can't find it, but I read the luxury seats are actually slightly lighter in comparison to the sport seats.

they don't help you safe any gas at all, because you will spend a ton for all the light weight products...and "i guess" the result of a lightweight e39 won't safe you any gas (maybe improve a little bit, but not significant)

unless you're going for performance improvement, then light weight setup might be a good idea

Damn, I heard the same thing from another E39 enthusiast. However, wasn't sure if he knew what he was talking about, because he thinks the E39 M5s are turbocharged. :confused:confused
