Hey guys I have a 1991 850i and the high pressure hose looks like its leaking. The car has 117k miles but in very good shape it has been sitting in the garage over the winter and now I have this leak along with a fuel filter. I am having a hard time finding a high pressure hose, or do I have to replace the entire power steering pump assembly. Plus I have some play back and forth with the steering wheel and gearbox about an inch. is that normal or is that my problem. The steering wheel is a 10:00 and 4:00 oclcok position but it has never hit a curb or bad potholes. I have a setr of brand new tires and it does pull to the right.

Can someone shed some light on my situation and give me some advise. I also need a complete repair manual and I can find one any suggestions.

What is the exact location of the leak? If you can't find the hose, how do you determine if the hose is leaking?

You could be in the same boat as I with a leaking booster (under the master cylinder). What color is the fluid leaking?
