Don't do anything stupid on the freeway, they'll be watching you:

Break out the Radar Detectors and Laser Jammers :D

I noticed there were a few more LEOS in places they usually aren't.

I've noticed an increased presence over the past few days myself. A bike cop almost hit me when he made a left turn without looking :rolleyes

Hope they ticket all these tailgating fucktards. And the ones that drive and look as far ahead as their hood. CA has such horrible drivers.

Too bad they'll probably only be looking for the youngster doing 2mph over

Heck yeah man! They need to start cracking down on tailgating and no blinker/people who cut you off. If people were to start leaving more space in front of them, the number of accidents will plumit, and I can get to where I need to be faster.

One of my coworkers got a ticket yesterday. I've seen at least 2-3 CHP cars on the way to work (73-55-91-57) everyday this week.

Yeah, don't you hate it when you get caught breaking the law? I mean, who the hell are they to enforce that bs?

My v-1 has been going bananas all this week. So this is the reason

they do this cause they are bored... there is no crime here. The only crime in OC is 50 in a 35.

F these pigs... been giving me tickets since I was a kid ridding on bike pegs, ridding my bike w/o helmet, skate boarding at skateparks, skateboarding on a bike path, and many other lame reasons.

And they wonder why they get a bad rap.

But hey, someone needs to fund the palm trees!

Cops!

Don't get mad at them for doing their job man. That's like your boss coming into your office and bitching you out because you came in on time and finished everything in your to do box. You need to take responsibility, because after all, you are the one breaking the law, they are just the ones enforcing it.

Just giving people a heads up so they'll watch their speeds and turn on their radar detectors, if you get pulled over that's your own fault, not the officer's. So if you hate tickets.... stop breaking the law and stop blaming the police for doing their jobs. The only thing CHP does is deal with people on the freeway (ie write tickets) it's not their job to respond to any crime. There aren't murders going free because a Chippy is too busy writing tickets to respond to the call.

californians are such whiners when it comes to cops and tickets here. i've been driving here for 8 years and have yet to get a ticket, cops are so lenient here. don't tail gate and go over 80 on the freeway, and you're set. in texas i got a tickets for 40 in a 35, 78 in a 65 (because at night, the limit goes from 75 to 65, doh), and 60 in a 40 when the sign was KNOCKED over. yeah, we have it bad here...

hey, i'll probably get a ticket some time, it's just a matter before your number comes up. but from what i've seen here after living here basically all my life, the police could be so much more anal when it comes to enforcement of traffic laws.
