If you're not completely set on an IX or 318, I just picked up another m3 and I am going to sell my '89 325i soon. Black on Black, 5 speed, non-sport seats, somewhat high mileage at 230k, but it is in perfect running condition. I'm the third owner on paper, but the person I bought it from had the car for about 2 months before I bought it from him. I've had it less than a year and have only put about 6k miles on it. I've replaced the steering rack, tie-rods, O2 sensor, selector seals, steering coupling, power steering hoses, and a few other misc. items that slip my mind at the moment. If you might be interested, let me know and I can take some pictures and send them to you. Other than the car's dire need of a some mods, it could use a respray. Most of the car isn't that bad, but the hood and a small bit of the front fenders have some paint cracks under the clear. However, the interior is about as perfect as a car can be, I'm talking 10/10, words don't do it justice. I'm in Roseville, BTW.
Like I said, let me know if you would want to check it out.

Thanks for offering, but I really don't have the time or money for another car right now. I start college in the fall and it's just going to get busy. The last thing I would want to do to such a car is leave it in the sun to rot. I just can't do that.

I have an '84 318i that just sitting in my back yard. It has had an M20 conversion done so it is now a 325e. It has Remus exhaust a chipped ecu and an intake, car is also lowered but needs shocks, brakes and tires, its been certified by a smog referee for the m20. Car just needs a home and a lil love, make me an offer if interested.
