:help
I was wondering if their was any way too lower our bimmers without killing the quality of the ride? I own a 97 chevy cavalier that i lowered and the ride is too damn stiff but i love the look. Is their any kinda kits that wont make this happen?

I believe Bavarian Auto has lowering springs that don't really stiffen up the ride.

or if you have hte money, you can get the PSS9 coilovers with the adjustable dampening. might be over kill.
UUC has lowering springs that works with stock shocks. that might be another option for you.

I am really interested in this also. I have not looked at the suspension setup yet. Are they coil-overs all around? In my T/A I went with Bilstein shocks and springs and did not loose any ride quality. I know they make a setup for the BMW 3s, anyone using them?
The reason you need to change the shocks and springs at the same time is because if you put a shorter spring on your stock shock setup it will pre-maturely wear out the shocks and give you a s*itty ride.
I'm using KW v.2 coils and pretty happy with the ride quality. However, it's harder to adjust the rear height and rear dampening (take out the springs and the shocks).

Whenever you lower a car you will stiffen the ride....the cupkit does a good job
