My 84 533i is painted Delphin Grey but the clear is starting to deteriorate on the hood, roof and truck lid. Do you think I should paint the entire car or do you think I can get away with just painting the effected areas?

Any help would be appreciated.

id do the whole car. but if u just want a quick fix, and u plan on repainting down the road. id just fix the infected areas

Delphin is a little hard to match, but frankly your issue is more likely to get good results by finding the right guy to paint the car.
